How to delete your data

Deleting your data

Yourself, in the app (self-service):

• Settings → Instagram account → Disconnect removes the stored Instagram connection. To revoke Instagram's side as well, remove Daykit under Instagram → Settings → Website permissions.
• Settings → Facebook & Instagram leads → Disconnect stops lead delivery and removes the Page connection.
• Settings → App connections → WhatsApp → Disconnect removes the stored WhatsApp connection.
• Settings → Clear social leads deletes every Instagram and Facebook contact on the device along with their comment history — including comments attached to contacts you added yourself — and any copy held for Undo. It also asks our server to delete its copy of those leads, so they are not delivered again, and to delete everything it holds of your WhatsApp conversations — messages, read markers and media copies. WhatsApp contacts already on this device stay until you delete them. It cannot reach backup files you exported earlier: a backup taken before a clear still contains what it contained, and restoring it brings that data back.
• Undo keeps one copy of the most recent thing you deleted or imported so it can be put back; it is replaced by the next delete/import and removed by "Clear social leads".
• Removing a walkthrough video deletes that file from your device (deleting a listing that has one works the same way, on a short delay).
• Settings → Sign out ends the session on this device and deletes WhatsApp photos, videos and voice notes from it.
• Uninstalling the app destroys the entire on-device book. It is not backed up to us, so this cannot be undone.

Delete your account

To delete your account and all of the server-side data we hold for it — your identity record, provider links, sessions, device records, connected tokens, stored leads, your WhatsApp connections, and every WhatsApp message, read marker and media copy we hold for you — you have two routes:

• In the app: use Settings → Delete my account. This starts account deletion directly from the app, so you do not have to contact us to remove your account.
• By email (backup / web route): email privacy@xvio.ai (or privacy@exonpro.in) from the address you signed in with, asking for account deletion.

Either way we delete your identity record, provider links, sessions, device records, connected tokens, stored leads, WhatsApp connections, and WhatsApp messages, read markers and media copies. We aim to complete this within 30 days and will confirm by reply.
